Every line on a Wambu quotation is priced with VAT at the prevailing rate already in it, and the VAT component is broken out on the document. The total at the bottom of the quotation is the total you pay.

We do not publish a rate card, because cement and steel move weekly and a stale number helps nobody. What we do publish is exactly how the number is arrived at.
How pricing works
Four rules we hold to
One price, not a negotiation
Prices come from current stock records rather than from how the day is going. Two customers asking for the same item in the same quantity are quoted the same figure.
Transport is costed in
Tell us the delivery point when you ask for the quote and the transport sits on the same document as the materials. Nothing appears afterwards that was not on the quotation.
Quotations hold for seven days
A quotation is valid for seven days from issue unless it states otherwise. Cement, steel and iron sheet prices move with the market, so beyond that window we re-quote rather than guess.
Buying tiers
Priced to the size of the job
Tiers apply per line, not per account, so a single order can carry retail pricing on fittings and trade pricing on the cement in the same quotation.

Homeowners and small jobs
Standard shelf pricing on any quantity. No account, no minimum order, no registration — walk in or send a list.
Trade
Fundis, masons and small contractors
Reduced rates once quantities pass the trade threshold on cement, iron sheets and timber. Applied automatically when you build a quote.
Project
Developers and institutional buyers
Negotiated pricing for large or scheduled procurement, with delivery phasing agreed against your programme. Talk to us directly.
Payment methods
M-Pesa, Equity, KCB or cash
M-Pesa is the fastest route and clears instantly against your quotation reference. Bank transfer to Equity or KCB suits larger orders and formal procurement. Cash is accepted at the counter in Maralal.
Whichever you use, the payment is receipted and tied to the quotation it settles, so your books reconcile cleanly and the documentation holds up to a KRA audit.
Before you transfer
Confirm bank account numbers against a quotation or invoice issued by Wambu Hardware Limited, or by calling the shop on a number listed on this site. We will never ask you to send money to an account communicated only by message.
